Biography
Born Cavan, Irish Repuiblic, August 24 1965. Studied history at Trinity College, Dublin, leaving with PhD, in 1992. Since then I've authored 8 books and many articles on a wide variety of topics. I currently live 3 km south of the small town of Belturbet in the Irish Republic with my partner Rosie, three dogs and three cats
Interests
Reading, writing, listening to music, learning languages, meeting people on the Net, reading about food and eating it, current affairs (especially African and Eastern European), and thinking about business
